About the artwork
In Nocturne IV, the familiar becomes unfamiliar. By turning the flower away from the viewer, the image reveals an intricate architecture normally hidden from view. Light gently traces each fold and contour, allowing the tulip to exist less as a botanical specimen and more as a sculptural presence suspended in darkness. By presenting a perspective that is rarely observed, the work encourages a slower, more attentive encounter, inviting viewers to discover beauty not through spectacle, but through quiet observation and form.
